French Toast Casserole

8 eggs
1 ½ cup milk
1 cup maple syrup
8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
¼ cup butter
2 Tbs. powder sugar
1-2 loafs of French bread or sour dough bread

Cut slices of bread and cover bottom of well greased casserole dish. Cube the remainder of the bread.
Layer sliced bread with cream cheese then place cubed bread on top.
Mix eggs, milk, ½ cup syrup and pour over bread. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake at 350 for 55 minutes.
Heat butter and ½ cup syrup and pour over top once out of the over.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
